V2Power is growing its UK business and is looking for an ambitious Business Development Associate to join its expanding team. This is an early-career opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships and creating new business opportunities.

You do not need previous EV charging or clean energy experience. We are more interested in your commercial potential, communication skills, initiative and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will work closely with V2Power’s Business Development team to help grow the company’s presence in the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and researching prospective B2B customers and commercial opportunities
  • Reaching out to potential customers through phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
  • Starting conversations, understanding customer needs and introducing V2Power’s solutions
  • Following up leads and helping progress opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Supporting client meetings, proposals and business development activities
  • Building relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholders
  • Attending meetings and visiting prospective customers across the UK when required
  • Developing your understanding of the EV charging and clean energy market

Who We’re Looking For

We are particularly interested in someone who is:

  • Confident and comfortable communicating with new people
  • Proactive and willing to create opportunities rather than wait for them
  • Resilient and comfortable with the realities of business development, including cold outreach and rejection
  • Organised, self-disciplined and able to work independently
  • Commercially curious and interested in understanding how businesses make decisions
  • A quick learner who is willing to develop knowledge of EV charging and clean energy
  • Ambitious, hardworking and interested in growing with a developing business

Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, recruitment, property, hospitality, fundraising, partnerships or other client-facing roles would be useful, but is not essential.

Recent graduates and early-career candidates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.

About the Opportunity

The role is expected to start on a part-time basis, with the potential to develop into a full-time position as the business grows.

It is particularly suited to someone who is looking for more than a short-term job and would like the opportunity to develop their career in business development and sales alongside a growing company.

The position offers a combination of remote/hybrid working and customer-facing activity, so you should be comfortable travelling within the UK when required.

Training on V2Power’s products, solutions and the EV charging market will be provided.
