Our Business Development Trainee - Management Pathway
Our Business Development Trainee - Management Pathway is designed for individuals who want to develop their communication, leadership and business skills while gaining practical experience and working towards increased responsibility.
No previous management or business development experience is required - full training is provided.

Lumen Partners is a growing face-to-face marketing company based in Liverpool. We work with some of the most established UK brands to help them acquire new customers through professional, face-to-face marketing campaigns across residential, business and event environments.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for people who want to develop beyond an entry-level position and work towards team leadership, management and business development opportunities.
We believe in developing people from the ground up through practical experience, coaching and ongoing development.
About the role
You'll begin by gaining hands-on experience across customer engagement, communication and business development while developing the skills needed to progress within the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Representing established UK brands through professional face-to-face customer engagement
- Speaking with customers and understanding their needs
- Presenting products and services clearly and confidently
- Building strong professional relationships
- Working towards individual and team objectives
- Developing communication and negotiation skills
- Taking part in regular coaching and development sessions
- Learning how to support and motivate team members
- Developing an understanding of team performance and business development
- Taking initiative and taking on additional responsibility as you develop
As you progress, you'll have opportunities to gain experience in areas such as team leadership, coaching, recruitment, performance development and business growth.
The aim is to provide you with the practical skills and experience to progress towards future team leader and management-level opportunities.
