Klarna, briefly

At Klarna, we're building an everyday finance network, helping over 120 million consumers across 26 countries save time and money, and worry less about their finances. Working here means taking on problems most companies never get to solve, and being hands-on enough that the interesting part of the work lands with you, not someone else — you'll build with AI, not watch it happen.

This is the stretch zone. Come find out what you're capable of.

About The Role

Klarna's media business grows through three different motions at once — selling directly to brands, scaling through agency partners who bring merchants in at volume, and opening up newer publishing opportunities around things like agentic commerce and product data. You'll work closely with your manager, who owns the overall strategy across these three motions, while you help shape how each one plays out in practice and then run it day to day.

This is a strategic sales position, not an operational one — you own the deal from first conversation through close, rather than administering onboarding once terms are agreed. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and the wider media team.

What You'll Do

  • You'll sell Klarna's media products directly to brands, running the full sales conversation from pitch to close.
  • You'll manage Klarna's agency partnerships, the channel through which merchants get onboarded onto Klarna's media products at scale.
  • You'll sell Klarna's newer publishing opportunities, including offerings built around agentic commerce and product data, to the partners best positioned to use them.
  • You'll help shape which motion — direct brand sales, agency partnership, or publishing opportunity — fits a given prospect, and then run that deal yourself.
  • You'll work with Product and the wider media team to understand new offerings as they're built and turn them into something sellable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who You Are

  • You've spent at least 2 years in sales or account management, ideally selling directly to brands or managing a partner channel that brought in business at scale.
  • You can run a sales conversation end to end — from identifying the opportunity to closing the deal.
  • You contribute your own view on which channel or partner type will drive the most value for a given opportunity, rather than treating every deal the same way.
  • You're comfortable selling something new before there's an established playbook for it, like an emerging product or data offering.
  • You manage your own pipeline across multiple types of partners — brands, agencies, and publishers — without needing it pre-segmented for you.

Bonus points for

  • Experience selling specifically within retail media, ad tech, or affiliate and publisher networks.
  • A track record growing revenue through a single agency relationship that brought in merchants at scale, rather than one-off deals.
  • Hands-on experience selling agentic commerce, product feed, or similar new data-driven advertising formats — not just comfort with novelty in general.

Things you should know before applying

  • Working together: we value co-located teams; most teams currently meet in the office 2–3 days per week, and this varies by team and can change over time.
  • Non-obvious backgrounds are welcome. Diversity of skills, perspectives and backgrounds is how we create, innovate, and disrupt like no other.
  • Final compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.

Please include a CV in English. Concrete beats comprehensive — what you built, what it did, what it cost.
