Description

We are looking for experienced, commercially driven Business Development Associate to drive sales of advanced disinfection technology into hospitals, cleanrooms, and controlled clinical environments on behalf of a European medical device company.

This is a high-ticket, commission-only role with significant earning potential. You will receive qualified leads and sales-ready opportunities and be responsible for converting them into closed deals.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and converting a pipeline of qualified prospects into closed sales across hospitals, clinic groups, pharma/biotech production facilities, and cleanroom operators.
  • Conducting on-site visits, product presentations, and demonstrations at prospect facilities.
  • Managing the full sales conversation from first meeting through to signed contract.
  • Engaging directly with key decision-makers including Heads of Infection Control, Facility Directors, Hospital Procurement, Cleanroom Operations Managers, and Quality & Compliance leads.
  • Representing the company at relevant trade fairs and industry conferences across your region.
  • Reporting against clear KPIs covering conversion rates and closed revenue.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in closing high-ticket B2B sales, ideally in medical devices, capital equipment, infection prevention, or health-tech.
  • Direct sales experience into hospitals, healthcare systems, or pharmaceutical production environments.
  • Comfortable with a commission-only model and demonstrating consistent ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site prospect and customer visits.
  • Based in or have strong commercial reach within one or more of the following regions: DACH, Nordics, Benelux, CEE, or MENA.

Preferred qualifications

  • Existing network of contacts within hospital procurement, infection prevention, cleanroom operations, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience selling into regulated environments such as GMP cleanrooms or hospital IPC departments.
  • Familiarity with disinfection, sterilisation, or environmental monitoring technologies.
  • Additional languages relevant to the target region, particularly German, Dutch, French, or a Scandinavian language.
  • A technical or scientific background is a plus but not required.

Engagement details

  • Model: Commission-only, freelance.
  • Commitment: 0.5 to 1 FTE, flexible depending on region and pipeline activity.
  • Travel & expenses: Covered for approved prospect visits, demonstrations, and trade events.
  • Regions: DACH, Nordics, Benelux, CEE, MENA, one or more regions per candidate.
  • Start: As soon as possible.
