Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves:
- Identifying new customers
- Identifying their needs
- Providing tailored solutions to foster long-term relationships
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong understanding of sales strategies in the haulage/courier sector
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through effective communication and personalised service
- Identify potential sales opportunities within target markets, including B2B sectors
- Conduct negotiations to secure favourable terms while ensuring client satisfaction
- Present products and services confidently, highlighting features and benefits tailored to client needs
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals, ensuring smooth onboarding for new clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up tasks using organisational tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised solutions that meet client requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in sales techniques through ongoing training and self-development initiatives

Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales or a similar client-facing role is preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales management and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Valid driving licence is desirable, as travel may be required for client meetings or presentations
- Effective time management and organisational skills are essential for managing multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently
