Job Description:

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves:

  • Identifying new customers
  • Identifying their needs
  • Providing tailored solutions to foster long-term relationships

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong understanding of sales strategies in the haulage/courier sector

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through effective communication and personalised service
  • Identify potential sales opportunities within target markets, including B2B sectors
  • Conduct negotiations to secure favourable terms while ensuring client satisfaction
  • Present products and services confidently, highlighting features and benefits tailored to client needs
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals, ensuring smooth onboarding for new clients
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up tasks using organisational tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised solutions that meet client requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales techniques through ongoing training and self-development initiatives

Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or a similar client-facing role is preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales management and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Valid driving licence is desirable, as travel may be required for client meetings or presentations
  • Effective time management and organisational skills are essential for managing multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently
