Business Development Associate
A growing and highly respected investment management business is seeking a Business Development Associate to join its Sales & Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to build a long-term career within financial services and investment management.
Working closely with an experienced Field Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing relationships with financial advisers, wealth managers and other intermediary clients across a designated region. The position offers significant exposure to client-facing sales activity, business development and relationship management within a supportive and collaborative environment.
A wealth of financial services experience is not a prerequisite in applying for the role but a desire to develop skills and knowledge within a demanding work environment is critical.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with a Field Business Development Manager to support regional business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial advisers through proactive outreach.
- Arrange and coordinate client meetings on behalf of the field sales team.
- Act as a key point of contact for adviser enquiries.
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.
- Support adviser events, conferences and industry functions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and help convert opportunities into pipeline revenue.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales, business development or client service role is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and professional written communication abilities.
- A proactive, positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
- Financial services experience is advantageous but not essential - attitude and potential are equally important.
