Business Development / Client Development

London | Hybrid | £30–35,000 depending on experience

This is not a conventional sales job.

Our client is an unusual combination: a commercial business with the creativity, purpose and personality of one of the world’s leading drama schools. They work with individuals, teams and organisations to help them communicate, collaborate and perform at their best. Their clients include some of the world’s best-known organisations, across multiple sectors, from around the world.

They are growing, and they are looking for ambitious people in the first few years of their career, to join their business development team.

You might already work in account management, business development or sales. Or you might be doing something similar without calling it that - building relationships, talking to clients, solving problems, spotting opportunities and making things happen.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Either way, we’re more interested in how you work than whether you fit a conventional sales profile.

This could be an ideal next role for someone who:

  • Builds rapport quickly and are comfortable talking to senior decision-makers.
  • Is genuinely curious about people and organisations.
  • Listens, asks good questions and gets to the heart of what the client needs.
  • Has good commercial instincts and can spot an opportunity.
  • Brings energy and initiative and makes things happen.
  • Communicates clearly and naturally.
  • Is organised and reliable and follows things through.
  • Is keen to learn and responds well to coaching and feedback
