Business Development & Client Manager
NTB Survey Ltd | Bury, Greater Manchester | Full-time
About us
NTB Survey is a specialist land surveying practice based in Bury. Our team of eleven delivers topographic, boundary, GPR, monitoring, and measured building surveys to housebuilders, civil engineers, main contractors, and local authorities across the North West and beyond. Integrity is our number one value, it shows in how we work and who we hire. We are growing and ready to invest in a dedicated person to own our client relationships and build our pipeline. This is a new role with real scope.
The role
This is an outward-facing position combining new business development with ongoing account management. You will develop relationships with new clients, deepen existing ones, and ensure NTB is first on the list when a developer or contractor needs a survey team they can trust.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
