Business Development Co-Founder, Out of Home Advertising
Curb Network | London preferred, open to UK/Europe | Equity-based
About us
Curb Network is an early-stage company reimagining what out of home advertising can be. Our core product is a digital screen fitted to boxes and bags carried by delivery riders on bikes, e-bikes, mopeds and motorcycles, so an advert travels through the city all day with the rider instead of sitting fixed on a wall. The founding team has already self-funded and built a working prototype, backed by substantial market and feasibility research into the UK out of home landscape.
Alongside the hardware, we are building a self-serve software platform that lets any business, whether a small local shop or a major global brand, upload an advert, pass through an automated safety review within minutes, and go live on a rider's screen straight away. From day one, the platform is designed to operate across borders, so a business could launch and manage a campaign in a city or country entirely different from where they are based, live within minutes rather than weeks.
The category itself is already validated. A well-capitalized competitor runs a similar scooter-based advertising network in London and has secured well-known brand clients, proving there is real advertiser appetite for this format. Our angle is wider: we cover the full spread of delivery vehicles, including bikes and e-bikes that make up the bulk of London's rider workforce and sit outside what scooter-only operators reach, and we are building the self-serve, cross-border software layer that no current operator has built. The broader numbers back this up too: global digital out of home spend is projected to hit $39 billion by 2030, UK out of home revenue climbed 15% year on year last quarter, and recent industry data shows out of home outperforming both TV and digital advertising on purchase intent.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Our problem
Right now, the founding team has product strategy, research, software engineering, technical project management and mechanical engineering covered. What's missing is someone with a genuine, established network inside advertising, out of home, digital out of home, or media agencies. We run plenty of cold outreach ourselves and know its value, but it only gets us so far. What we actually need is someone whose name already carries weight in these rooms, someone who can bring this opportunity to a brand or agency and have it land because they're the one saying it. That kind of standing can't be built from the inside, it only comes from time genuinely spent in the industry, and it's the single most valuable thing this hire brings.
About the role
We're looking for a co-founder with real, established relationships with the people who make brand and agency buying decisions, and the credibility to open those doors directly rather than relying on cold outreach alone.

Just as important is the person behind the network. We want someone hungry for this, willing to wear multiple hats rather than stay in one lane, and genuinely prepared to put in evening and weekend hours on top of whatever else is on their plate. Keeping your current job while we build this together is completely fine with us, we just need real, consistent effort outside standard working hours and a genuine drive to push this toward category-defining, potentially unicorn-level scale, not something treated as a passing side project.
There's already investment interest on the table, and we're currently deciding which investor is the right long-term partner, so there's a real chance this becomes a funded, full-time position before long rather than staying equity-only indefinitely.
We'd prefer someone based in London so the founding team can work together in person regularly, though we're genuinely open to candidates elsewhere in the UK or Europe for the right fit.
Compensation
This is a co-founder role, not a salaried position. The primary offer is founding equity, with the exact split agreed together once we know it's the right match. If equity isn't the right structure for you, we're open to discussing alternatives, including commission on the brand and agency relationships you bring in.
