Business Development & Communications Specialist (14 Month FTC)

Our US law firm client is seeking an engaging and professional Business Development & Communications Specialist on an initial 14-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied role that includes elements of marketing, business development, communications, public relations, marketing technology, and events spanning the firm’s practice groups, client teams, and lawyers.

Business Development & Communications Specialist – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead business development and marketing initiatives for multiple practice groups, supporting strategic planning and growth
  • Develop pitches, proposals, presentations, and other client-facing marketing materials
  • Manage events, sponsorships, webinars, and PR campaigns, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Conduct market, client, and competitor research to identify business development opportunities
  • Manage legal directory submissions, communications, website content, and marketing collateral
  • Track business development performance, maintain practice group materials, and support firm-wide marketing initiatives

Business Development & Communications Specialist – What We’re Looking For:

  • Applicants must be available for a September start date
  • 5+ years of Marketing / Business Development experience gained within a law firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with InterAction, Vuture, and Ruby advantageous
