Location: Hybrid / Roaming – Based from The Lantern, NW1 2LT – 3 days in an office, 2 days from home
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Permanent
Department: New Business, Corporate & Relocation Services – Lettings & Sales
Salary: £50,000– basic salary (£25,000) & commission (£25,000 OTC)
Job Description
We are looking for a confident, driven and highly proactive Business Development Consultant to support our New Business function within the Corporate & Relocation Services team.
In this role you will work closely with our Business Development Account Manager to help identify new opportunities, generate meetings, conduct confident outreach, and support companies, relocation firms and embassies who require housing for employees relocating to London.
This is a fast-paced, commercially focused and highly rewarding position, offering excellent progression into business development and corporate account management. You will be a key part of a growing division and play a central role in generating new business and supporting high-value partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through confident phone outreach, LinkedIn engagement and targeted email campaigns
- Book high-quality meetings and introductions for the New Business Account Manager
- Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to support pitches and early-stage relationship building
- Provide clear, friendly and solutions-focused support to employees relocating to London
- Handle first-stage enquiries and problem-solve issues before passing to branch or senior colleagues
- Maintain accurate CRM records, follow-up actions and meeting notes to ensure a smooth pipeline
- Work collaboratively with Lettings, Sales, Business Development divisions, Key Clients & Build to Rent and Marketing
- Support the preparation of proposals, pitch materials and presentations
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners

It Would Be Advantageous If Candidates Possess
- Confidence and professionalism on the phone, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive mindset – confident making outbound contact and generating opportunities
- Problem-solving ability and a calm, solutions-led approach
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Experience in sales, lettings, recruitment, customer service or business development (not essential)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and CRM systems
