Who You Are
As a Business Development Consultant, Enterprise, you will engage directly with large enterprise accounts as the primary contact in high-impact, strategic, and complex sales cycles.
- Generate leads for legal AI solutions across top-tier law firms and corporate legal departments
- Spark high-value conversations, uncover business challenges, and tailor Clio solutions to meet prospects’ unique needs
- Build relationships that drive long-term, enterprise-level success
What Your Team Does
Our Sales Team is pivotal in driving interest and adoption for Clio’s offerings across the prospective customer ecosystem. Their roles include:
- Engaging with new enterprise leads to provide expertise and solutions for complex challenges
- Developing qualified leads for Account Executive teams, directly supporting Clio’s revenue growth
- Maintaining proactive outbound strategies, accelerating both pre- and post-sales cycles
What You’ll Work On
- Lead generation & pipeline development: Build a robust revenue pipeline for enterprise target accounts through a multi-channel approach
- Collaboration with AE teams: Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to refine strategy, increase pipeline quality, and orchestrate high-value product demonstrations
- Awareness & decision-maker engagement: Create buzz around Clio’s product suite and ignite interest with key decision-makers
- Market knowledge & tailored solutions: Deeply understand your assigned segment—identifying challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and converting opportunities
- Continuous skill sharpening: Strengthen sales techniques through training, mentorship, and feedback
- Adaptability & competitiveness: Navigate evolving sales landscapes with agility, adjusting strategies to adapt to market needs
- Technical/legislative expertise: Master prospects’ practice areas, technical needs, and competitive environments to champion Clio’s value proposition effectively
- Performance tracking: Deliver regular activity, pipeline, and result reporting with qualitative and quantitative insights
- Salesforce & process compliance: Ensure all prospecting is accurately documented and meets daily KPIs

What You May Have
Previous experience and qualifications that align well with this role include:
- A track record in Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative positions, preferably in B2B SaaS, enterprise, or technologically-driven markets
- Success engaging senior decision-makers in complex, consultative sales cycles
- Executive presence: Confident presentation skills to influence and convince sophisticated buyers
- Strong business acumen—gradually understanding intricate challenges and mapping them to relevant Clio solutions
- A results-driven, competitive mindset paired with intellectual curiosity about law, technology, and AI
- Ability to simplify technical concepts into clear stories for non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tools (e.g., Outreach, HubSpot)
Bonus: Experience evaluating AI tools and dedication to using AI to enhance your craft

Salary & Compensation Details
The expected salary range for this enterprise-focused BDR role in the UK is £35,700 to £48,300 (GBP). This range allows room for growth based on experience and sustained high performance.
- Early-career or newly qualified candidates may start at the midpoint or below.
- High performers and experienced individuals typically receive mid-band offers.
- Accomplished professionals with proven track records may earn salaries on the higher end, reflecting their expertise and impact.
Note: The position’s base salary reflects broader market values, while individual offers depend on skills, location, and direct contributions.
