Job Title: Business Development Consultant
Department: Business Development / Sales
Reports to: Managing Director
Location: [Bangor / North Wales] – [Hybrid/On-site]
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Overview:
The Business Development Consultant is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities in the European markets. This role involves building strong relationships with international clients, partners, and distributors. Plus building long-term revenue growth and supporting the company’s expansion strategy.
The ideal candidate is commercially, with a proven track record in sales and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agents, and key-stakeholders.
- Market Development: Research, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities in existing and new territories.
- Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute tailored go-to-market strategies for each territory, considering end user requirements, local regulations, cultural nuances, and competitive landscapes.
- Sales Growth: Drive sales activities in target regions to meet or exceed revenue targets. Track and analyze international sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at demonstrations (with technical support), trade shows, conferences, and industry events worldwide.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Minimum of 2+ years in sales, business development, or market expansion roles
- Ability to present in high-pressure environments
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of multi-cultural business etiquette.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally
