Independent Business Development Consultant – Technology Solutions
TAIGATEC | Remote (UK-wide) | Self-employed | Commission Only | Uncapped Earnings

The Opportunity
We are looking to collaborate with experienced, independent B2B sales professionals to develop new commercial opportunities across our growing technology portfolio.
This is an opportunity for entrepreneurial sales consultants with established professional networks who are confident identifying business challenges, building client relationships and developing opportunities through to successful commercial agreements.
Working directly with TAIGATEC’s founder and our technical delivery partners, you will have the flexibility to develop your own pipeline and sales strategy.
We welcome applications from independent consultants who already represent complementary technology solutions.

- Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities across the UK.
- Generate and qualify leads through professional networks, LinkedIn, referrals and targeted outreach.
- Build relationships with business owners, senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Understand prospective clients’ technology requirements and identify appropriate solutions.
- Develop and manage opportunities from initial engagement through to commercial agreement.
- Collaborate with our founder and technical delivery partners on client presentations and proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities and pipeline activity.
- Support business development through professional networking and relevant LinkedIn content.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or technology consulting.
- Experience selling enterprise software, AI, automation or digital transformation solutions is highly desirable.
- An established professional network, ideally within the UK SME or mid-market sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate complex technology concepts into clear commercial benefits.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work independently.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and using CRM systems.
Relevant commercial experience and demonstrated sales performance are more important than formal academic qualifications.

Engagement Terms
This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with no basic salary.
The arrangement is intended for genuinely independent sales professionals who manage their own working arrangements and commercial activities.
Commission structures and payment terms will be discussed and agreed in writing with successful candidates before engagement.
