Role Description
As a Business Development Consultant – Healthcare Education (Self-Employed / Independent Contractor), you will focus on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within healthcare education and CPD markets. This full-time remote role involves:

- Building and managing relationships with course providers, educators, and healthcare organizations
- Understanding their needs and positioning BookCPD’s solutions to support their growth and efficiency
- Being responsible for lead generation, prospect outreach, and pipeline management, including:
- Conducting discovery calls
- Product demonstrations
- Follow-up consultations
- Developing tailored business plans
- Providing strategic advice to organizers on scaling their CPD offerings
- Collaborating with internal teams to inform product and marketing initiatives
- Tracking performance metrics
- Refining outreach strategies
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions to support sustainable revenue growth

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation, particularly in B2B or healthcare-related sectors
- Strong Consulting and Business Planning skills, with the ability to understand client workflows and propose scalable, practical solutions
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and confident client-facing interactions
- Proven ability to work independently as a self-employed or independent contractor, managing time, priorities, and a remote workload effectively
- Familiarity with healthcare education, CPD frameworks, or professional training environments is highly beneficial
- Comfort with digital platforms, CRM tools, and online meeting software; ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
