We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to support our national Corporate & Commercial and Property, Environment & Finance practices. This full-time role will be based in Sydney.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Coordinator or Administrator looking to step up into a consultant role. This role is focused on supporting the Corporate & Commercial and Property, Environment & Finance practice groups, delivering on operational and strategic BD activities to support the success of both Practice Groups in meeting their business plan objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing business development and marketing support to both practice groups and supporting the implementation of client management plans
  • Contributing to tenders, bids and quotes and other business development and marketing collateral as required as well as capturing and maintaining all relevant matter information for use in bids and capability statements, CVs, website and legal directory submissions.
  • Conducting competitor analysis where required and maintaining client data and preparing mailing lists.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to all client and industry facing activities, including activities such as directories and events and contributing informed ideas and suggestions for content development.

About you

The successful candidate will ideally have some prior business development experience in the legal industry.

You will have well-developed written skills and be a tech "expert" across a range of software especially the Microsoft Office Suite. You will have strong organisational and administrative skills.
