Role Description
This full-time hybrid Business Development Consultant role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for partial work from home. The consultant will identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on organizations that can benefit from energy cost reduction services. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:
- Building strong client relationships
- Providing consultative guidance on energy-saving strategies
- Collaborating with internal teams to shape proposals and service offerings
The consultant will track pipeline activities, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and contribute to business planning and revenue growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of building and managing a sales pipeline.
- Consulting experience, including the ability to analyze client needs and recommend practical energy cost reduction strategies.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for client-facing interactions, presentations, and documentation.
- Experience in Business Planning, including forecasting, market analysis, and support of strategic growth initiatives.
- Background in B2B services; experience in energy, sustainability, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between on-site client meetings and remote work.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Studies, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including interpreting usage data and financial impacts.
