Business Development Consultant
Location: Hybrid and field-based, with a base at The Lantern, London NW1 2LT
Working pattern: Three days office/field-based and two days working from home
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Permanent
Department: Corporate and Relocation Services – Lettings and Sales
Salary: £50,000 OTE, comprising a £25,000 basic salary and £25,000 commission
The opportunity
Campions is looking for a confident, motivated and proactive Business Development Consultant to support our Corporate and Relocation Services team.
This is a partnership-focused role centred on developing and supporting relationships with organisations, corporate accommodation specialists and other trusted introducers. Working alongside the Business Development Account Manager, you will help strengthen our partner network, coordinate new enquiries and ensure our partners and their clients receive a responsive, high-quality service.
The role is focused on supporting these relationships and connecting referred clients with the appropriate expertise across our lettings and sales network.
This is a varied, fast-paced and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship building, partner engagement and delivering an excellent standard of service. The role offers strong potential for career progression within partnership development and account management.
You will become an important member of a growing team, helping to strengthen professional relationships and provide an effective link between our partners and the wider Campions network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with organisations, corporate accommodation specialists and other trusted introducers
- Support engagement with existing and prospective referral partners through telephone, email, LinkedIn and professional networking
- Arrange high-quality meetings and introductions for the Business Development Account Manager
- Work closely with the Account Manager to support partner presentations, proposals and relationship-development activities
- Help partners access the appropriate lettings and sales expertise across the Campions network
- Coordinate referred enquiries and ensure they are handled promptly, professionally and effectively
- Provide clear, friendly and solutions-focused support throughout the initial stages of an enquiry
- Understand individual requirements and direct enquiries to the appropriate branch or specialist team
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including contact details, follow-up actions and meeting notes
- Manage follow-up activity consistently to support an organised and effective pipeline
- Collaborate with colleagues across Lettings, Sales, Business Development, Key Clients, Build to Rent and Marketing
- Assist with the preparation of proposals, presentations and other partner materials
- Develop strong and effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Represent Campions professionally at partner meetings, networking opportunities and relevant industry events

About You
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Confidence and professionalism when speaking on the telephone, with the ability to establish rapport quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and positive approach to developing professional relationships
- A genuine interest in partnership working and delivering excellent service
- A calm, practical and solutions-focused attitude
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities effectively
- Good attention to detail, particularly when maintaining records and coordinating follow-up activity
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with colleagues across different teams
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM platforms and other business-development tools
Previous experience in sales, lettings, recruitment, customer service, account management or business development would be advantageous but is not essential
