We're growing - and we're looking for someone who loves winning new business.
Eurobase People is growing, and we're looking for Business Development Consultants to join our team in Chelmsford and play a key role in expanding our client base across the UK and European Tech markets.
This is a new business focused role. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, opening doors, speaking to decision makers and turning conversations into long term client partnerships. You'll work closely with our experienced 360 Recruitment Consultants and Delivery Consultants, connecting great businesses with our recruitment solutions and creating opportunities for the wider team.
What you'll be doing:
- Research and identify prospective clients across the UK and European Technology markets
- Generate new business through outbound calls, LinkedIn, email and networking
- Build, manage and consistently develop your own BD pipeline
- Identify decision makers and open conversations with new prospects
- Arrange and attend client meetings to introduce Eurobase People and understand their recruitment needs
- Develop new client accounts and build long term commercial relationships
- Work closely with our recruitment teams to identify opportunities and understand market requirements
- Keep up to date with market trends, new sectors and emerging opportunities
- Work alongside Marketing on campaigns and initiatives to generate new business
- Share market intelligence and new opportunities across the wider business

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in Business Development, Sales or Recruitment
- Confidence making outbound calls and approaching new prospects
- A hunter mentality and appetite for winning new business
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities
- Resilience and determination when things don't go your way
- A competitive mindset and motivation to achieve targets
- The ability to build relationships with people at all levels
