Business Development Consultant

We’re looking for a confident, ambitious Business Development Consultant to join our growing team and play a key role in generating new business across our sales and lettings offices. You’ll be someone who enjoys speaking to clients, building strong relationships and spotting opportunities to win new business and grow our presence in the market.

As we continue to grow, there’s plenty of scope to develop your skills, take on greater responsibility and progress your career with us. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in property, with exposure across sales, lettings, new homes and property development.

Salary

A commission-based role with OTE of up to £35,000 in your first year.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Speak to previous and existing prospects to understand their property plans and how we can help.
  • Generate new leads through outbound calls, market research and keeping an eye on competitor activity.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients and spot opportunities to win new business.
  • Arrange property valuations and appointments for our local office managers.
  • Connect clients with relevant third-party services, including our mortgage partners.
  • Keep client and lead information accurate and up to date on our CRM systems.
  • Work closely with our local teams to identify and maximise new business opportunities.
  • Work towards and consistently achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.

Skills

  • Confident in speaking to people on the phone and face-to-face, with great communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive and self-motivated approach to your work.
  • Enjoy building relationships and providing a great experience for clients.
  • Comfortable handling objections and having challenging conversations when needed.
  • Motivated by targets and driven to achieve results.
  • Well-organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage your time effectively.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to stay focused and organised in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Keen to learn, develop your skills and build a career in the property industry.
