The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, self-starting Business Development Consultant / Sales Professional based in the UK to lead our commercial market entry.

This is not a high-volume cold-calling role. You will be representing a mission-critical, emotionally sensitive product where trust, reputation, and calm professionalism are paramount. You will help map the UK landscape, build genuine relationships with independent funeral directors, crematoria operators, and local authority bereavement services, and introduce them to a platform that eliminates operational risk.

What You Will Do

  • Market Entry & Mapping: Map the UK market across independent funeral businesses, regional groups, municipal crematoria, and private crematorium operators.
  • Targeted Outbound & Relationship Building: Design and execute consultative outreach campaigns (via LinkedIn, email, phone, and industry networking) to secure qualified discovery calls and product demonstrations.
  • Run Discovery & Product Demos: Understand the daily operational pain points of UK funeral staff, demonstrate how 302 Funeral solves their friction points, and guide prospects from initial interest to pilot or contract.
  • Gather Strategic Feedback: Act as the voice of the UK customer, reporting local requirements, competitor landscape insights, and integration needs back to our product and leadership team.
  • Industry Partnerships: Explore and develop relationships with UK industry bodies (e.g., NAFD, SAIF, ICCM), audiovisual installers, and crematorium technology suppliers.
  • Pipeline Ownership: Manage your leads and opportunities transparently, building a predictable pipeline of recurring SaaS subscriptions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
