Business Development Consultant | Workplace Wellbeing | Commission-Only | Remote
The Wellbeing Haven UK is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Consultant to help expand our practical, clarity-led workplace wellbeing offer across the UK.
Our workplace tools include the GRACE Reset Deck, 14-Day GRACE Reset Programme and Seasonal Workplace Kits designed to help people introduce practical moments of calm, clarity and confidence into demanding working days.
The Opportunity
This is an independent, self-employed consultancy opportunity for someone who enjoys opening conversations, building trusted relationships and progressing B2B opportunities.
You will focus on identifying and developing workplace and platform relationships. You will progress and close commercial opportunities within Haven-approved pricing, proposal and negotiation boundaries.
Who You Will Speak To
You will typically engage with:
- HR and People teams
- Organisational Development and People & Culture leads
- Workplace wellbeing leads
- Team managers and Heads of Department
- Senior workplace decision-makers
- Workplace wellbeing and employee-experience platforms
Your Focus
You will:
- Identify and approach suitable workplace and platform prospects.
- Open professional conversations through LinkedIn, email, phone and video calls.
- Qualify and progress workplace pilot, subscription and platform opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records for Haven opportunities you introduce or actively progress.
- Attend mutually agreed prospect and client calls connected to your opportunities.
- Share relevant market feedback and prospect insight.
- Use Haven-approved pricing, proposals, messaging and sales materials.
- Follow Haven’s confidentiality, data-protection and brand-protection requirements.

Commission
This is a self-employed, commission-only consultancy arrangement. There is no basic salary, guaranteed income or fixed working hours.
Commission rates are:
- 25% on eligible workplace pilots.
- 12% on eligible first-year workplace subscription revenue.
- 15% on eligible first-year platform revenue.
Commission is paid within 14 days after The Wellbeing Haven UK receives cleared client payment, subject to the written Commission Schedule and applicable cancellation, refund and non-payment provisions. Full eligibility, payment, renewal and clawback terms will be provided to shortlisted applicants before engagement.
What We Are Looking For
This opportunity may suit someone with experience in:
- B2B business development or consultative sales.
- Partnerships or workplace platforms.
- HR, People, Organisational Development or employee benefits.
- Workplace wellbeing, learning and development or related services.

- Confidence opening conversations with workplace decision-makers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, ethical and relationship-led sales approach.
- The ability to manage your own pipeline and schedule.
- Commercial curiosity and sound judgement.
- Genuine interest in practical workplace wellbeing.
- Comfort working independently on a commission-only basis.
- Existing relationships in HR, People, OD, wellbeing or workplace platforms are welcome, but not essential.
Engagement Details
- Remote.
- Independent self-employed consultant arrangement.
- Flexible and self-directed working pattern.
- Non-exclusive, subject to confidentiality, data-protection and conflict-of-interest requirements.
