Job Description
About the Role
Aramark UK is looking for a results-focused Business Development Coordinator to join our team. The role of the Business Development Coordinator is to support business development activities for the UK & Global Energy offshore and remote sites business, by proactively managing existing customers and supporting the development of future business with new customers.
The Business Development Coordinator will be required to establish and nurture existing and new customer relationships, gather and analyze prospect and client information, maintain client database information, support tenders, and play a supporting role in generating, responding to, and winning tenders.
Working closely with the Head of Global Sales and operations team, the role will support the sales growth plan both within the UK and Internationally (as required), with a new focus on developing our technical services division and onshore remote site camp markets.
The successful candidate will also work alongside our operations, finance, technical services team within our ARCADION business in Aberdeen, and other relevant teams in Europe and the USA.

Key Responsibilities
- Working with Head of Sales to build and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database - ensuring all targeted accounts are updated regularly and actions recorded on the system.
- Support the core sales activity (New & Retention) for Aramark’s global energy business offshore across the UKCS. This includes offshore catering, housekeeping, cleaning, and wider maintenance services provided by Aramark’s in-house technical team ARCADION.
- Retention: Engage with Aramark’s current clients on vertical and horizontal selling and under the direction of the country Directors of Operations & the Head of Global Sales; support retention activity.
- Targeting, liaising, completing proposals, presenting, and closing out commercial and contractual documents. Further support to the operations team during mobilization and transition where required.
- Working with Aramark Bid Team to develop & refine content for pre-qualification and tender responses which are bespoke to Aramark. Strong writing skills are required.
- Proof-reading/quality-checking final documents to ensure that they meet quality standards, where supported by Aramark’s centralized bid and design team.
- Working closely with the wider international team including to ensure that client expectations are met throughout the sales process.
- Ensure that there is a momentum to the sales activity – Pipeline Management, working with the Global Head of Sales.
- Generating and providing regular and ad-hoc reports to the management team both globally and locally.
- Supporting Aramark’s Safety team with external profiles, e.g. Achilles/SEQual and other industry bodies. Attendance at global/local trade shows is anticipated.
- Tracking of client and prospect activity through press, media, web, and other publications both foreign and domestic.
