Business Development Coordinator - Private Funds | London
Are you a business development or marketing professional with experience in the legal sector? A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Business Development Coordinator to support a highly successful Private Funds practice based in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier legal environment and work closely with senior stakeholders on a broad range of strategic business development, client engagement, pitching, events, and profile-raising initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of business development and marketing initiatives across the practice group
- Preparing client pitches, proposals, presentations, and RFP responses
- Coordinating legal directory and industry award submissions
- Conducting market, client, and competitor research
- Managing marketing collateral, credentials, and BD databases
- Supporting events, sponsorships, and thought leadership campaigns
- Working closely with lawyers and cross-functional marketing teams to drive growth initiatives
- Assisting with reporting, budgets, CRM management, and relationship tracking

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Development, Marketing, or a client-facing commercial role
- Previous experience within a law firm is essential
- Excellent communication, writing, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with CRM systems and research tools is advantageous
- Exposure to private funds, asset management, financial services, or professional services environments would be beneficial
