Business Development Coordinator in Tech - Hybrid - Birmingham City Centre
Our client, an established and growing fintech business serving corporate and public sector clients across the UK, is hiring a Business Development Coordinator to become the operational hub of their sales function.
This is a commercially serious, well-resourced environment with a substantial and reputable client base.
This is not a pure new-business hunting role. You will sit alongside an existing team of salespeople, coordinating the pipeline, chasing follow-up actions, preparing proposals and contracts, and making sure nothing stalls between first contact and signed deal. Over time, and with proven capability, there is a genuine path toward running your own opportunities and customer relationships but the first phase of this role is coordination and support, and candidates who want to be closing deals from month one should not apply.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
