An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Coordinator to join a busy and collaborative marketing and business development team. This role will support a range of strategic initiatives, helping to strengthen client relationships, raise market profile and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of pitches, proposals, capability statements and RFP responses.
  • Maintain and update marketing collateral, credentials, trackers and BD databases.
  • Coordinate legal directory and award submissions, liaising with lawyers and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct client, market and competitor research to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Support practice group planning and business development initiatives focused on revenue growth.
  • Coordinate client events, sponsorships and marketing campaigns in partnership with internal teams.
  • Utilise CRM systems and relationship intelligence tools to support client development activities.
  • Track sponsorships, memberships, events and engagement activities, ensuring effective follow-up and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • Degree educated.
  • At least 2 years' experience in business development, marketing or a client-facing role.
  • Previous experience within a professional services environment, ideally legal services.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems and research platforms; knowledge of tools such as InterAction, PitchBook, Preqin or Capital IQ would be advantageous.
