Business Development Coordinator – FinTech (Hybrid, Birmingham) - £35,000 - £40,000

A brilliant opportunity to join a fast-growing fintech organisation in a role that blends sales coordination, business development, and commercial growth — with a clear pathway into more senior BD positions.

🌟 Why this role matters

You’ll become the operational heartbeat of a busy sales function — keeping opportunities moving, supporting customer engagement, and making sure nothing slips through the gaps. You’ll work closely with a team of salespeople, Marketing, and senior leaders, helping drive growth across established public sector markets and emerging sectors like Housing Associations.

This is ideal for someone ambitious, organised, commercially aware, and ready to build a career in fintech sales.

💼 What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinating the sales pipeline across multiple salespeople, ensuring actions are completed and opportunities progress.
  • Managing CRM activity (with a move from Dynamics to HubSpot) and supporting forecasting/reporting.
  • Supporting sales engagement — booking meetings, preparing presentations, issuing agendas, and coordinating follow-ups.
  • Producing proposals, quotations and contracts, and supporting onboarding and renewals.
  • Researching new markets such as Housing Associations, building prospect lists, and coordinating targeted outreach.
  • Working with Marketing on campaigns, events and lead-gen initiatives.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and helping shape go-to-market plans.
  • Building relationships with prospective customers and supporting tender opportunities.
  • Over time, leading your own customer meetings and managing opportunities independently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
