Our platform spans POS, ecommerce, ERP, payments, and CDP, helping clubs drive commercial success off the pitch while improving the fan experience.
Purpose of the Role
To drive sustainable growth across the sports sector by winning new business, protecting and growing existing accounts, and acting as the strategic link between customers and Jonas Sports to maximise long-term value on both sides. This role owns two commercial outcomes: growing revenue from new-name customers, and ensuring existing customers renew, expand, and become advocates.
Key Responsibilities
New Business (New Name)
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the sports industry, building on existing networks and relationships within professional sport.
- Build and manage a healthy, qualified sales pipeline sufficient to meet agreed new-name targets.
- Lead commercial discussions, product demonstrations, proposals, and bid/tender preparation.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers within prospect organisations using a consultative sales approach.
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly new business sales KPIs.
Account Management & Renewals (Back to Base)
- Own strategic relationships across a portfolio of existing customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Deliver a back-to-base sales target through upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Proactively manage renewal timelines to protect retention and prevent churn.
- Conduct regular business reviews to track value delivered and surface expansion opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to broaden customer value through consultancy, additional modules, and strategic initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
