If you are looking to join a brilliant B-Corp creative agency with a digital focus and an appetite for change then this one may be for you.
I’ve placed people here before, including with this hiring manager, and have only heard great things.
The business
The business on this one is a digital agency. They’re a B-Corp, have a strong track record of innovation, work with a nice roster of clients large and small, and have an excellent working culture.
They currently have capabilities for delivering creative campaigns, digital design, and media planning with teams spanning Account Management, Creative, Design, Media, Project Management, Strategy, Tech. One of their core areas of growth is a CG/3D production offering which has very few competitors in the market - it’s a genuine USP for the business which pretty much sells itself.
Our headcount currently sits just above 25.
Culture
In terms of working culture they have a track record of really looking after their people. They genuinely believe in the mantra that a good idea can come from anywhere - both their media and 3D offering were suggested by members of staff and are now a core part of the agency.
Managers are hands-on from a support stand-point, but give plenty of ownership and empower their teams to get the work done their way.
At the moment people are spending 2 days in the office as a minimum, with the option to do all five if you want to (lots of the juniors like going in, they’re a pretty sociable bunch).
Why are we hiring?
We're looking to add a Business Development Director to the team as the incumbent is based in the Midlands and is taking a job closer to home after a solid stint with the agency.
What you'll be doing
This is a fairly typical business development role, reporting directly to the Managing Partner. On a day to day basis your role can be thought of in three parts.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
1. Strategy
This means lead generation, market segmentation and strategy, route to market, as well as having a hand in outbound comms.
2. Winning Clients
From initial contact, qualification, proposal, pitching, negotiating and closing. You will have the full backing of the team for this - with production, client services and technologists all involved throughout.
3. Pipeline Management
Building relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, budgets and buying processes. Providing accurate reports to the leadership team of potential opportunities.
This is a standalone role within the business, but the leadership team will be working very closely to support you (crucially while letting you get on with the job) and people from different teams will be with you every step of the way.
Who we're looking for
Priority number one here is having strong business development skills (which feels silly to say given the job title). We’re looking for a hunter rather than a farmer with experience originating and closing enterprise level business rather than managing inbound leads. Their product is pretty cutting edge - many potential clients won’t know that they need it yet - think cars replacing horses.
The second key priority is being comfortable with the doing of the job. You won’t be managing a sales team from day 1, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being hands on - writing decks, presenting to clients, managing some of the outbound tools. If you’re someone that wants to be senior while doing the job you enjoy (rather than being promoted away from the front line and just managing people) then this is a great one for you.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
It would be useful if you have knowledge of the creative agency world (be that production, content, advertising, or CG), though a general (and demonstrable) interest in new technology could be a suitable substitute.
We’d also ideally like someone who is used to selling bespoke services, tooling or platforms rather than an off the shelf product - a huge part of this job is really qualifying a client’s needs and then working with the internal team to create a bespoke offering. We want a consultant, not a wolf of wall street salesperson.
This is a growing agency that happily admits they don’t have all the answers yet, so being comfortable with coming on the journey and laying the tracks as you go is handy. I should note that this doesn’t mean it’s utter chaos in there; they have a really strong management team who can demonstrate and give great examples of their supportive, inclusive approach.
Salary and the hiring process
…and just in case LinkedIn hasn’t displayed this properly, our salary bracket on this one is £80-95k with an expected OTE around the £100-110k mark. To hit this target, you should need to bring in around four clients a year.
I’m looking to interview people next week so that I can submit a shortlist on the 29th of September.
Once you are past the briefing conversation with me there will be two more interviews. The first, a meeting with the managing partner via video call. The second will involve a task to be presented (in person) to two or three members of the management team.
Benefits include 25 days holiday (plus banks), dedicated training and development budget, medical insurance and a good pension.
If this sounds like the business development role for you then apply now!
