Business Development Director

📍 UK Based | Remote First | Travel Required
đź’°Competitive Base + Uncapped Commission + Long-Term Growth Opportunity

Build Relationships. Create Opportunity. Help Shape a Category.

Momentum Global helps technology-driven organisations build global teams they own, not rent.

As the world's only globally agnostic, end-to-end nearshore insourcing partner, we operate across 31 countries, combining market intelligence, local expertise and delivery capability to help businesses scale globally while retaining control, culture and capability.

We're now looking for a Business Development Director to help drive our next phase of growth.

This isn't a traditional sales leadership role.

You won't inherit a mature pipeline or spend your days managing SDR-generated opportunities.

Your job is to create opportunity.

The Role

Working closely with our Founder, CRO and leadership team, you'll build relationships across:

  • Private Equity and Venture Capital
  • Portfolio companies
  • Technology leaders
  • Founders and executive decision-makers
  • Strategic partners

You'll identify routes into target organisations, develop senior relationships and turn those relationships into meaningful commercial opportunities across Momentum's services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • A natural relationship-builder and networker

Your background could include Executive Search, Recruitment BD, Consulting, Professional Services, Workforce Solutions, Technology or Strategic Partnerships.

PE or VC exposure would be valuable, but your ability to build relationships and personally generate business matters more than your industry label.

Why Momentum?

You'll be joining a lean business at a point where your impact will be highly visible.

You'll work directly with founders and senior commercial leaders, gain exposure to PE and VC ecosystems and help shape a commercial function that is still being built.

We're remote-first, outcome-focused and highly autonomous.

And as Momentum grows, there is significant opportunity for your own role to grow with it.

Our Values

  • Innovation — We challenge the status quo and look for better.
  • Community — We show up for each other.
