Business Development Director – UK Intermediaries
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join the UK Wholesale team of a leading global asset manager. This is a key sales role focused on developing relationships with Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), generating new business and growing assets under management across the firm's Multi-Asset investment capabilities.
This is a field-based role covering the North of England, with the successful candidate able to be based from an office within the region. The role will involve extensive travel across the North West, Yorkshire and North East, with the majority of the week spent meeting with existing and prospective IFA clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with Tier 1, 2 and 3 IFA clients across the region.
- Drive new business and grow AUM across the firm's Multi-Asset capabilities.
- Develop account plans and deliver individual and regional sales targets.
- Host and attend adviser meetings, events and industry conferences.
- Identify client needs and provide a consultative, trusted-adviser approach.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and work closely with internal teams to deliver regional objectives.
About You:
- Experienced Investment Sales, Business Development or Intermediary Sales professional within asset management or financial services.
- Proven track record of building relationships with UK financial advisers and growing AUM.
- Strong knowledge of the IFA landscape, ideally with an established network across the North.
- Strong understanding of asset management products, particularly Multi-Asset investments.
- Commercially driven with excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised and comfortable with extensive regional travel.
