Overview
Gallagher’s People & Workplace Transformation practice in GBS is growing, and we’re looking for a Business Development Director to help shape that journey.
This is a senior sales role focused on winning new business for our AI transformation offer. You’ll work with large corporate clients and senior leaders to understand their challenges and show how Gallagher can help.
You’ll bring together commercial thinking, strong relationship skills, and a good understanding of transformation and change. You’ll also work closely with our consulting and delivery teams to turn opportunities into lasting client relationships.

This role is a great fit if you enjoy strategic sales, building trust with senior stakeholders, and helping grow a practice from the ground up.
How you'll make an impact
- Identify and develop new business in the AI transformation space.
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with large corporate clients.
- Lead conversations with C-suite leaders, including CEOs, CHROs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and Transformation Directors.
- Run discovery sessions to understand client challenges and shape the right response.
- Create persuasive proposals, pitches, and presentations for senior decision-makers.
- Represent Gallagher at events, conferences, and networking sessions.
- Work with internal teams to support smooth handovers and strong client outcomes.
- Keep pipeline and sales activity up to date in CRM systems.
About You
- Proven track record in new business sales within digital transformation, AI, change, and/OR consulting environments
- Experience selling into senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and engage at C-suite level
- Strong understanding of large-scale business transformation programmes and associated challenges, including how AI supports client growth and development opportunities
- Background in transformation consulting, culture consulting, or strategic advisory firms is desirable, but not essential
- Commercially astute, with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and build a market presence from the ground up
- Experience using CRM and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn)
