Business Development Director – Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI UK)

We're looking for a Business Development Director – Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI UK) to join our team in London in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding EPAM's presence in the UK Banking, Financial Services & Insurance sector by turning your established industry relationships into meaningful partnerships and growth opportunities. Working at the intersection of strategy, technology, and delivery, you will help lead banking and financial organizations reimagine their digital future, drive transformation, and achieve business agility.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your actionable network in the UK Banking, Financial Services & Insurance market to originate and nurture new business opportunities
  • Drive consultative sales of digital transformation solutions to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Coordinate high-impact engagement by bringing together prospects, clients, account teams, strategists, and technologists to shape optimal solutions
  • Develop and oversee compelling value propositions, proposals, and go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with internal and partner ecosystems to co-sell, enhance pipeline development, and deliver integrated solutions
  • Drive joint marketing initiatives and thought leadership within the Banking and BFSI space, sharing knowledge across regions
  • Maintain visibility in industry forums and networks to promote EPAM's capability as a trusted transformation partner

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience selling bespoke digital technology services
  • Established and actionable network within the UK Banking and BFSI sector, particularly in banking and insurance
  • Proven track record in identifying and closing large-scale, complex digital transformation deals
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and technology trends in banking and BFSI
  • Experience with partner collaboration for joint value propositions and co-selling
  • Excellent relationship-building, client management, and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Consultative solution-selling expertise with a history of achieving business targets
