Overview

NSC Global delivers global network implementation, IT infrastructure and support solutions to world-class organisations, helping customers simplify operations, reduce costs and transform their IT environments.

As a Cisco Global Gold Certified Partner, we design, deploy, support and manage global IT communications and technology services for leading enterprises worldwide.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Director to accelerate NSC Global’s growth across the UK.

This is a new-business and new-logo focused role, with responsibility for identifying, developing and winning new customers across the UK market.

We are particularly interested in individuals with a strong understanding of the data centre, IT infrastructure and mid-market/upper mid-market sectors, who understand the technology landscape and can identify where NSC can solve real customer challenges.

You will be responsible for building relationships from the ground up — identifying target organisations, opening doors with senior decision-makers, creating demand, developing opportunities and converting them into profitable, long-term customer relationships.

The role requires a genuine hunter mentality and an entrepreneurial approach. You will be expected to develop your own pipeline rather than rely on an established account base, using market knowledge, networks, outbound prospecting, events, referrals and strategic relationships to generate new opportunities.

NSC can support customers across a broad range of requirements, from targeted infrastructure and professional services projects through to complex, multi-year managed services, field services, network and outsourcing engagements.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in building NSC Global’s UK customer base and establishing new strategic relationships, with significant scope to grow accounts once established.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new-logo acquisition and revenue growth across the UK market.
  • Identify and target prospective customers across the data centre, IT infrastructure, technology and mid-market sectors.
  • Develop a clear target-account strategy and proactively identify organisations where NSC can add value.
  • Open new relationships with C-level, CIO/CTO, IT, infrastructure, procurement and commercial stakeholders.
  • Generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events and existing relationships.
  • Build and manage a strong new-business pipeline from initial prospecting through qualification, proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Research customer organisations and identify business, technology and operational challenges that NSC can address.
  • Create compelling, commercially focused propositions that demonstrate clear customer value.
  • Own the full sales cycle and take accountability for converting opportunities into new customers.
  • Develop land-and-expand opportunities, using initial projects or services as an entry point to build broader NSC relationships.
  • Identify opportunities across NSC’s capabilities, including network, infrastructure, field services, professional services, managed services and global support.
  • Build strong relationships with technology partners, service providers and other relevant industry stakeholders to generate new routes to market.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and structure agreements that deliver value for both the customer and NSC.
  • Work closely with Solutions, Operations, Service Delivery and Executive Leadership to develop and close complex opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the UK technology market, competitors, customer requirements and emerging opportunities.
  • Own new-logo, revenue, margin and pipeline targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunity management, forecasting and reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
