About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Director to lead the systematic development of new business opportunities across EMEA, with an initial focus on our Banking & Treasury Automation suite. This role will be central to driving both new logo growth and cross-sell opportunities within our F&O and BC sales teams.
You will bring proven experience in banking and treasury automation technology, product positioning, sales enablement, and partner development. Acting as a strong commercial leader, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, and partners to define target accounts, shape territory success plans, and support deal execution from lead generation through to customer growth.
Embedded within the Sales organization, you will collaborate closely with Customer Success, Pre-sales, Services, Support, Marketing, Product, and Partner Development teams to ensure a joined-up approach to growth, delivery readiness, and long-term customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the Banking & Treasury Automation sales strategy to achieve new ARR growth targets and increase market share.
- Build sub-region-specific execution plans with clear KPIs and timelines to identify target accounts, win new logos, and expand existing customer relationships through cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Participate in early sales cycles to help sales teams understand how to position, differentiate, and win deals in the focus area.
- Enable sales teams to improve prospecting, pipeline creation, opportunity qualification, and closing effectiveness.
- Develop a targeted partner recruitment and enablement plan to strengthen Banking & Treasury Automation sales activities across the region.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
