We’re looking for an ambitious Director of Business Development

We’re looking for an ambitious Director of Business Development to drive enterprise growth for a fast-scaling UK MarTech business serving the foodservice, wholesale, beverage and FMCG sectors.

This is a true new business hunter role. You’ll identify untapped markets, engage C-suite decision-makers and own the sales cycle from first conversation to six-figure contract close.

The Role:

  • Build and execute an enterprise new business strategy.
  • Identify, develop and close high-value opportunities.
  • Sell to senior Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Operations and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales and procurement processes.
  • Build compelling ROI-led business cases and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Develop a high-quality enterprise pipeline and consistently deliver against ambitious targets.
  • Build strategic relationships across target industries and markets.
  • Feed customer and market insight into wider growth and product strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven success selling enterprise SaaS, technology or digital solutions.
  • A track record of winning new logos and closing six-figure deals.
  • Experience across foodservice, wholesale, FMCG, retail, hospitality or distribution is a major plus.
  • Strong executive-level selling, negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Comfortable opening doors, creating demand and navigating complex organisations.
  • Entrepreneurial, commercially driven and highly accountable.
