Payments can be so much more than a transaction. For airlines, the right payments strategy can improve conversion, reduce costs, unlock revenue and create a better experience for customers.

At CellPoint, that’s exactly what we help our customers achieve. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to develop our airline business across Europe.

This is a role for someone who knows the airline industry, enjoys opening doors and is comfortable building relationships at the highest level. You’ll be speaking with CEOs, CFOs, CTOs and senior leaders across payments, e-commerce, revenue management, finance, treasury and customer experience.

You won’t be selling a generic payment product or waiting for an RFP to land in your inbox. We’re looking for someone who can spot an opportunity, start the right conversation and help airline leaders understand where changes to their payments strategy could make a genuine commercial difference.

What you’ll do

  • Build and execute a targeted account plan for priority airlines in the region.
  • Create senior-level access and originate new business opportunities from a defined target account list.
  • Lead discovery conversations around payment conversion, cost of acceptance, revenue leakage, payment method mix, checkout friction, ancillary revenue, fraud and risk, orchestration and operational efficiency.
  • Position CellPoint as a strategic partner for commercial performance, not simply another technology or payment vendor.
  • Coordinate internal leadership, consulting, product and delivery teams to move qualified opportunities towards proposal and close.
  • Bring market intelligence, competitive insight, buyer feedback and repeatable GTM plans back into the business.
  • Maintain strong CRM, pipeline, qualification and forecast discipline.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced enterprise sales or business development professional who knows how to create opportunities and build credibility with senior decision-makers.

You’re comfortable with complex sales cycles, curious enough to get underneath a customer’s challenges and commercially minded enough to turn those conversations into a compelling business case.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic business development, enterprise sales, alliances or consultative account growth.
  • A strong track record of personally creating and progressing complex new business opportunities.
  • Existing relationships with senior airline decision-makers in your market.
  • Experience working across airline functions such as commercial, finance, treasury, digital, technology, revenue management, payments, operations or customer experience.
  • The ability to understand a business challenge and turn it into a clear, quantified value case.
  • Strong account planning, opportunity qualification, stakeholder management, proposal development and forecasting skills.
  • The curiosity and resilience to create demand before a formal buying process exists.
  • The confidence to work with autonomy and help shape the way we go to market, not simply follow an established playbook.

Why CellPoint?

Because this isn’t a role where everything has already been mapped out for you.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we grow in an important market, influence our commercial approach and build relationships with some of the region’s leading airlines.

You’ll also be joining a team that sees payments differently. Not simply as something that happens at checkout, but as an opportunity to improve revenue, margin and the overall customer experience. If you like creating momentum, opening doors and turning good conversations into meaningful commercial opportunities, we’d love to talk.
