My client is looking for an exceptional Business Development Director to drive significant new-business growth for a fast-growing luxury media and events business. This is not a traditional advertising sales role. We are looking for a genuine hunter who can open doors with senior decision-makers, build strategic partnerships and consistently close high-value opportunities.

The Role

  • Deliver £500,000–£750,000+ annual new business
  • Target average deal values of £20,000–£50,000+, with six-figure opportunities welcomed
  • Build and manage a strong new-business pipeline
  • Identify, prospect and win new strategic brand partnerships
  • Develop bespoke solutions across digital, content, events, print, social, creative and audience targeting
  • Sell to CMOs, Marketing Directors, CEOs, Founders and senior commercial decision-makers
  • Build long-term partnerships that grow year-on-year
  • Represent the business at luxury events, launches and networking opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close

We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of £500k–£750k+ annual new-business revenue
  • Average deal value of £20k–£50k+
  • Strong evidence of winning strategic partnerships, not simply advertising
  • Existing network within luxury and/or financial services highly desirable
  • Strong relationships across luxury, wealth management, private banking, property, automotive, travel, watches, jewellery or premium brands
  • Demonstrable ability to convert meetings into proposals and proposals into signed business
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • Genuine hunter mentality with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach
  • Confident and credible with C-suite stakeholders

What's on the Offer

  • £50,000–£65,000 basic salary
  • Uncapped commission
  • £80,000–£100,000+ OTE
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Hybrid working
  • Minimum office attendance Tuesday & Friday
