Here's a bit about the opportunity...
We're looking for a Business Development Director to join our Growth team and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our early careers RPO growth.
This is a senior, consultative sales role for someone who can combine commercial thinking, solution design and deep recruitment expertise to create compelling, scalable solutions for clients.
You'll work closely with clients and internal specialists across attraction, assessment, operations, technology and marketing to understand business challenges, shape winning propositions and support high-quality growth across the UK and international markets.
Business development and solution design
- Shaping winning early careers RPO propositions for prospective clients
- Leading solution design across workforce planning, attraction, assessment, process, technology and pricing
- Translating client challenges into commercially compelling and operationally realistic solutions
Commercial, bid and sales contribution
- Leading prospect conversations, pitches and tender activity with a consultative and insight-led approach
- Working with internal subject matter experts to develop timely, high-quality and commercially viable responses
- Partnering with Marketing and the wider Growth team to support targeted outbound activity
Market engagement and thought leadership
- Keeping close to early careers market trends, assessment innovation, DE&I practice and recruitment technology
- Designing solutions that work across UK and international early careers requirements
- Representing Amberjack at industry events, client workshops and networking opportunities

Stakeholder management and collaboration
- Building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition and procurement
- Influencing and collaborating across growth, operations, technology, marketing and assessment teams
- Challenging thinking and bringing fresh ideas that improve client outcomes and Amberjack propositions
Who we're looking for...
Someone commercially sharp, consultative and confident in designing solutions that are strategic, scalable and deliverable.
You'll need:
- A proven track record in RPO sales enablement, solution design or consultative business development
- Strong understanding of early careers or volume recruitment models, including attraction, selection, assessment and programme management
- Excellent commercial skills, including pricing, contract negotiation and financial modelling
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading confident client conversations
- Strong presentation, communication and written skills
- The ability to work collaboratively across subject matter experts and internal teams
