The Team

KPMG has established strong relationships with many of the world's leading Private Equity firms, which continue to hold significant levels of capital available for investment. Private Equity is a key strategic growth channel for KPMG globally, and value creation and portfolio services represent a major opportunity for the firm.

The wider team comprises specialists with deep expertise across Audit, Tax and Advisory, supporting Private Equity firms and portfolio companies throughout the transaction lifecycle, from transaction to transformation and through transaction again. We operate in a fast-paced, high-profile market, providing an engaging, challenging and rewarding environment. This role is vital to bring the best of KPMG to those Private Equity clients; providing the business solutions they need.

Role and Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth & Client Leadership:

  • Lead the development and execution of growth strategies across a portfolio of priority Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies.
  • Originate and qualify opportunities, driving strategic pursuits, and securing profitable revenue across KPMG's non-audit service lines.

Relationship Building & Network Expansion:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with Operating Partners, investment professionals and portfolio company management teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client priorities and challenges, identifying opportunities for KPMG to support value creation, transactions and transformation programmes.

Account Strategy & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the UK Head of Private Equity, Client Lead Partners and senior capability leaders across Audit, Tax and Advisory.
  • Play a central role in developing account strategies, coordinating client service teams and ensuring opportunities are effectively identified and converted.

Opportunity Development & Solution Design:

  • Take client challenges or opportunities and bring together multidisciplinary teams to refine, shape and deliver compelling solutions.
  • Leverage KPMG's breadth of expertise to create differentiated propositions that solve client issues and drive measurable value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
