Business Development Director – Project Services

Location: UK Wide / Hybrid with regular client and partner travel

About TXP

We are TXP. We help businesses and organisations move forward, at pace and at scale. We believe in the transformative power of combining technology and people. By providing consulting expertise, development services and resourcing, we work closely with organisations to solve their most complex business problems.

The Opportunity

The Business Development Director is responsible for driving the strategic growth of TXP Project Services through the acquisition of major customers, development of partner ecosystems, creation of new service propositions, and expansion into new markets and verticals.

Acting as a senior individual contributor, the role focuses on identifying, shaping and securing high-value opportunities whilst positioning TXP as a leading provider of project services, field engineering, deployment, logistics and managed service solutions.

The role operates at an executive level with customers, technology vendors, system integrators, channel partners and senior stakeholders across the UK and internationally. Success is measured through revenue generation, gross profit growth, strategic partnerships and market expansion rather than team leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for TXP Project Services.
  • Identify and secure high-value new business opportunities across technology services, project services, field services and managed services.
  • Build a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with TXP’s commercial objectives.
  • Establish long-term relationships with Director, VP and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with technology vendors, OEMs, software providers, system integrators, MSPs and channel partners.
  • Position TXP as a preferred delivery partner and create repeatable, partner-led routes to market.
  • Identify new markets, industry sectors and service opportunities.
  • Shape customer-specific solutions and develop compelling propositions, proposals and commercial models.
  • Lead complex discovery activities, commercial negotiations and opportunities through to contract award.
  • Work closely with delivery, PMO, logistics and finance teams to ensure solutions are commercially viable and operationally achievable.
  • Represent TXP at industry events, conferences and customer briefings.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, market intelligence and strategic commercial insight to the leadership team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
