About the Role
Are you an ambitious B2B sales hunter who is energized by the Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and People & Culture space? We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to take dedicated product ownership of driving net-new sponsorship revenue for RecFest UK—the premier event brand for talent acquisition leaders.
This role is built for a true outbound specialist. You will focus 100% of your energy on acquiring new logo clients across Tier 2/Tier 3 clients, completely free from post-sale account administration. Working alongside our Commercial Leads, you will connect emerging HR, tech, and branding vendors directly with the TA community.

Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Execute high-volume, multi-channel outreach into prospective UK talent acquisition tech, employer branding, and recruitment solution providers.
- New Logo Acquisition: Own end-to-end sales execution for Tier 2 and Tier 3 level clients, alongside migrating emerging vendors.
- Pipeline Management: Independently manage your pipeline inside HubSpot: deploying automated sequences, tracking deal velocity, and maintaining accurate forecasts.
- Strategic Referral: Identify enterprise-level "whale" accounts during prospecting and route them to the Commercial Lead in exchange for referral credit.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Outbound B2B Track Record: 1–3 years of proven success in high-activity outbound sales (experience in HR/TA-tech, B2B event sponsorship, or fast-paced B2B SaaS strongly preferred).
- Hunter Mindset & Discipline: Highly competitive, proactive, and target-driven, with demonstrated experience executing phone calls, cold email sequences, and social selling via LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Passion for the Industry: A genuine interest in the HR, Talent Acquisition, or Employer Branding landscape—you are eager to speak the buyer's language and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Tech & Communication: Hands-on experience operating inside HubSpot Sales Hub (or similar CRMs) and confidence conducting discovery calls and video pitches over Google Meet.
- Mindset: Highly competitive, resilient, target-motivated, and energized by working within a collaborative team environment.
