Business Development Executive

Hertfordshire

Are you organised, proactive and confident dealing with clients, and have an interest in both business development and the construction industry?

Then this will be for you!

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join a busy construction business. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a team, supporting new business opportunities, tenders, client relationships and networking activities.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the BD team:

  • Identifying and managing new business and tender opportunities
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of PQQs and EOIs
  • Managing tender portals, including uploads, downloads and administration
  • Supporting tender correspondence and document control
  • Maintaining compliance records and administration
  • Assisting with client communication and correspondence
  • Supporting selected key client relationships
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients during the defects period where required
  • Supporting networking activities and company events
  • Carrying out post-contract follow-up calls and client satisfaction checks
  • Helping maintain a strong pipeline of future opportunities
