Job Title: Business Development Executive
Salary: £30,000 & Company Car, Uncapped commission
Location: Field-based (Agile)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
At Evri, we're transforming how customers and businesses access parcel services across the UK. Our Parcel Shop network handles millions of parcels every year through a growing network of retail partners, providing convenient parcel solutions for consumers and businesses alike. We're now looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to join our Parcel Shop team. This is an exciting opportunity for a true sales professional who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and making a real impact on network growth.
This is a field-based role covering Newport, Cardiff, Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford. The ideal candidate will be based in these geographies.
What You'll Do
This role has evolved into a predominantly new business development position, with approximately 75% of your time focused on prospecting, identifying and winning new Parcel Shop partners across your territory. The remaining 25% of the role involves managing and developing an existing portfolio of Parcel Shop accounts, ensuring performance, service excellence and customer satisfaction. You'll be given the autonomy to manage your territory, identify growth opportunities and build long-term retail partnerships that contribute to the continued success of the Evri Parcel Shop network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, prospect and win new Parcel Shop business opportunities across your territory.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to deliver against network growth targets.
- Conduct business development meetings and effectively sell Evri Parcel Shop services to prospective retail partners.
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of approximately 100 Parcel Shop accounts.
- Build strong relationships with retailers to maximise performance and customer experience.
- Monitor retailer performance using key reports and management information, driving continuous improvement where required.
- Analyse retailer data and KPI performance, taking ownership of service improvements and performance outcomes.
- Support retailers through training, coaching and the implementation of Parcel Shop processes.
- Promote awareness and utilisation of Parcel Shop services through effective retailer engagement and local activity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and secure parcel handling processes.
- Maintain accurate retailer records, documentation and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional Parcel Shop services within existing and prospective accounts.
- Maintain a regular visit cycle across the territory and manage time effectively to maximise productivity.
- Represent Evri professionally, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a motivated sales professional with a passion for developing new business and delivering results.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven B2B sales and business development experience, ideal sectors FMCG, logistics, Retail.
- Experience managing field-based customer relationships.
- Experience of prospecting, pipeline generation and winning new business.
- Strong account management and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially focused with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographical territory.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to drive decisions.
- Resilient, self-motivated and results driven.
- Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building capability.
- Full UK driving licence.
