Business Development Executive
Remote
c£32 plus OTE
We’re recruiting two Business Development Executives to join an established international technology group.
This is a new business role, but not a traditional hard-sales environment. The focus is on identifying interesting businesses, reaching out to founders and senior decision-makers, and developing relationships over time.
The role will include:
- Researching businesses and identifying potential opportunities
- Reaching out to founders, CEOs and other senior decision-makers
- Cold calling and creating personalised outreach
- Building and maintaining relationships over time
- Qualifying opportunities and deciding where to focus
- Managing activity through CRM and sales engagement tools
- Working closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally

About you
You’ll already have experience in new business, business development or outbound sales. You’ll be comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations, but equally know when to listen. This role will suit someone who is naturally curious, emotionally intelligent and able to build credibility with different types of people.

The team is small and experienced, so you’ll work closely with some seriously impressive senior leaders. There’s plenty to learn, room to take on more responsibility over time, and a wider international group behind the team which can offer longer-term career opportunities.
The role is fully remote within the UK, with some UK and international travel. There is also flexibility to use a local co-working space if you prefer some time outside the home.
Salary and package are currently being confirmed.
