About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to grow Medserv's Billing and Remote Practice Management services across Ireland. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing your own pipeline and converting prospects into long term clients. This is a field-based role where you'll manage your own territory, build strong relationships with consultants and healthcare practices and take ownership of the sales cycle from initial contact through to closing new business. This role offers a competitive base salary together with an uncapped commission structure, providing significant earning potential for high performers.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach and targeted prospecting.
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing new business.
  • Meet prospective and existing clients at their practices, hospitals and industry events across your territory.
  • Take a consultative approach to understand each client's needs and recommend the most appropriate Medserv solutions.
  • Develop long-term relationships that drive client retention, referrals and future growth opportunities.
  • Represent Medserv at conferences, networking events and industry meetings.
  • Work closely with Marketing and the wider Commercial team to support campaigns and generate new leads.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting using CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity and developments within the healthcare sector.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
