Business Development Executive (Assessment Services – New Logo Acquisition)

Reporting to the Sales Team Manager, the Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and winning new Assessment clients for LRQA. The role is heavily focused on new logo acquisition, outbound sales activity, and developing a sustainable pipeline of opportunities that support long-term revenue growth.
This is how you will make a difference:

Win New Logos
- Focus on acquiring new Assessment clients by identifying, engaging, and converting organizations that are not currently working with LRQA.

Build a Strong Sales Pipeline
- Generate opportunities through proactive prospecting, outbound calling, networking, social selling, and market engagement activities.

Create Market Growth
- Target key sectors and strategic markets, developing new business opportunities that contribute directly to LRQA's growth ambitions.

Deliver Consultative Sales
- Understand prospective client needs and challenges, positioning LRQA's certification, assurance, and training solutions to support their business objectives.

Own the Full Sales Cycle
- Manage opportunities from initial prospect engagement through discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and contract award.

- Expand Market Presence
- Represent LRQA professionally in the marketplace, building awareness and credibility with prospective customers and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute targeted new business development activities across assigned sectors and territories.
- Generate and qualify opportunities through outbound prospecting and networking.
- Convert marketing-generated and self-generated leads into qualified sales opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales process from discovery through contract award.
- Achieve annual new logo revenue and acquisition targets.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Create compelling proposals aligned to customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales plans.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to maximize business development success.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven new business sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Strong prospecting, lead generation, and outbound sales skills.
- Demonstrated success winning new clients and achieving sales targets.
- Confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and highly results-oriented.
- CRM and pipeline management experience.
