Business Development Executive – Banking & Capital Markets

£120,000–£140,000 base | £170,000–£200,000 OTE | Uncapped commission
London hybrid – 2–3 days per week across client sites and offices

We’re looking for a proven new-business hunter to win Cloud Infrastructure Services opportunities across the Banking and Capital Markets sector.

This isn’t an account-management role or a single-product software sale. You’ll create your own pipeline, open new logos and grow low-footprint accounts—shaping and closing multimillion-pound cloud, infrastructure and managed-services deals.

The role

  • Generate and convert new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs and senior decision-makers
  • Shape propositions around clients’ commercial and technology challenges
  • Lead opportunities from initial engagement through to contract
  • Coordinate technical, commercial and industry teams to secure the win

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
