About Wattle

Wattle is the membership technology company behind MemEx. We work exclusively with membership organisations, helping them improve member experiences, streamline operations, and make better use of their data.

Our MemEx platform brings together CRM, website, member portal, integration, and AI-powered organisational intelligence. Built around technologies including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Umbraco, and Azure, MemEx combines a modern digital experience platform with MemEx Intelligence - our AI platform designed specifically for membership organisations.

We're growing and looking for a Business Development Executive to join our commercial team.

Your Role

Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, you'll manage Wattle's new and repeat business pipeline from initial qualification through to close.

  • Coordinate bids and tenders
  • Produce quotes and proposals
  • Keep our commercial pipeline accurate and moving
  • Support sales presentations and help close repeat-business opportunities
  • Represent Wattle at membership-sector events, meeting prospects, and following up new opportunities

As your knowledge and experience develop, you'll take increasing responsibility for qualifying new opportunities, writing tender responses, closing business, and participating in pitches, with a clear progression path towards Business Development Manager.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
