Role: Business Development Executive

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £28,000 + £10,000 OTE

Are you ready to launch your career in tech sales with a company that’s going places? Our client is a fast-growing, award-winning Managed Service Provider (MSP) that’s shaking up the IT and Cyber Security world – and they’re on the lookout for ambitious, driven people to join their Sales team.

Working with over 1,500 businesses across the UK, including big names like the PGA, Wolves FC, and Nottingham Rugby, they deliver cutting-edge IT Support, Cloud Infrastructure, Modern Workplace solutions, and Cyber Security services to businesses of all shapes and sizes. And with recent wins like CRN’s MSP of the Year, this company is showing no signs of slowing down.

The Role

This isn’t your typical sales job, it’s a chance to learn, grow, and be part of something exciting. As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be a key player in the company’s growth, working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to spark conversations with potential clients and uncover new business opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reaching out to potential clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how)
  • Asking smart questions to understand their challenges and show how we can help
  • Encouraging sign-ups for events, webinars, and workshops
  • Following up with warm leads and re-engaging previous contacts
  • Building your personal brand on LinkedIn
  • Keeping an eye on industry trends to spot new opportunities
  • Supporting senior sales colleagues with client meetings and follow-ups

What We're Looking For

You don’t need sales experience, just the right attitude. If you’re:

  • Full of energy and ready to make things happen
  • Curious, confident, and up for a challenge
  • Great at chatting with people and building relationships
  • Comfortable juggling tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Handy with a computer and keen to learn new tools
